Welcome
Welcome, and thank you for visiting Georges Road Baptist Church online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.
Our Mission
At Georges Road Baptist Church, we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and the principles of God’s Word. Our mission is to exalt Christ by walking together in love and worshiping regularly. We support the work of evangelism, and are committed to the Christian education of our children. Through prayer and the study of Scripture, we seek to know our God more and more intimately.
Meet Our Lead Pastor
Reverend Norman Walter, Ph.D. has been the Lead Pastor of GRBC since January 2006. He has also pastored in seven other churches throughout New Jersey and Wyoming. The focus of his ministry is to faithfully teach and preach the Word of God.
Pastor Norm holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, and is currently a Professor of Counseling and Psychology at Pillar College in Somerset, NJ.
Pastor Norm has been married for 40 years, and has three grown children and five grandchildren.
Services
Our Sunday morning worship service is held at 10:00 a.m.
Please join us in the Community Room immediately following our Sunday morning worship service for coffee, food and fellowship every 1st and 3rd Sunday.
If you need prayer, please see one of our church leaders after the service and they will be glad to have a one on one prayer with you.
Please join us for Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM and be blessed as Pastor Norm Walter teaches the love of the Holy Spirit and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Starting June 29th, we will be having a morning Bible Study every Monday morning from 10:00 - 11:00AM. Please join us if you are able to.

Starting July 3rd we will have open prayer on Wednesday Nights from 7:00 - 7:30PM and Starting July 6th we will have Prayer Meetings on Saturday morning from 11:30AM to 12:30PM, All are welcome.

On November 8th 2018, Georges Road Baptist Church celebrated their 175th Anniversary. Thanks to all members, old friends and family, the North Brunswick community and everyone who made this day a very special event in the history of GRBC.

​
Every second Sunday of the month is the offering for the "Go Global 30 Club," set aside for our three missionary families that are in need of our support. Just one dollar extra a month can make a difference. Please designate on your envelopes "Global 30." Thank you!
If you are interested in becoming a member of the church and/or water baptism, please write your name and phone number on the sign-up sheet on the Fellowship table outside of the Pastor's office. There are membership forms available to take home and fill out. We will then contact you with further information.
Missions Outreach

Our present missions outreach is "Discipleship: Becoming more like Christ." Please give to the America for Christ Offering to enable American Baptist home missionaries to provide support to individuals and families affected by mental illness. Please pray for this important ministry, and see how you can help!
