Trust in the LORD with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways acknowledge Him,

and He will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Georges Road Baptist Church online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.

Our Mission

At Georges Road Baptist Church, we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and the principles of God’s Word. Our mission is to exalt Christ by walking together in love and worshiping regularly.  We support the work of evangelism, and are committed to the Christian education of our children. Through prayer and the study of Scripture, we seek to know our God more and more intimately.

Meet Our Lead Pastor

Reverend Norman Walter, Ph.D. has been the Lead Pastor of GRBC since January 2006.  He has also pastored in seven other churches throughout New Jersey and Wyoming.  The focus of his ministry is to faithfully teach and preach the Word of God.

Pastor Norm holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, and is currently a Professor of Counseling and Psychology at Pillar College in Somerset, NJ.

Pastor Norm has been married for 40 years, and has three grown children and five grandchildren.

 Our Sunday morning worship service is held at 10:00 a.m.

Please join us in the Community Room immediately following our Sunday morning worship service for coffee, food and fellowship every 1st and 3rd Sunday.

If you need prayer, please see one of our church members after the service and they will be glad to have a one on one prayer with you.

Please join us for Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM and be blessed as  Pastor Norm Walter teaches the love of the Holy Spirit and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

All are welcome!

      Starting June 29th, we will be having a morning Bible Study every Monday morning from 10:30 - 11:30AM.  Please join us if you are able to.
